Whenever any learner take admission in IGNOU, the biggest problem he/she faces is to get the study material or you can say IGNOU Books.They don’t know whether the university has sent it to their home address or not.

So, I would like to clear all the students that the study material is provided to the students at their physical communication address via post.It is totally free of cost.

Usually, It is delivered to the students directly from IGNOU main campus Maidan Garhi, Delhi. But sometimes, they have to collect it from their concerned study centres or regional centres as well.

This process of delivering IGNOU books to students may take one or two month after admission.

So, the students should wait for their study material to reach their home at least two months after admission.

If they don’t receive it even after two months, then they should enquire about it at their regional centre.

How to Check IGNOU Books Status July 2021?

With the increasing enrollment of students in IGNOU in every academic session, the university is not able to deliver the study material of students on time.

Most of the students are getting it late or many of them don’t receive it. So, the students who takes fresh admission in this distance learning university remains in dilemma that how will they receive their study material or books.

Whether university will dispatch it to their home address or they have to collect it at their study centre. Even few days back they don’t have the option to track the IGNOU study material dispatch status online.

In this article, I am going to share with you two useful methods to know your IGNOU books status July 2020. Let’s discuss both of these methods one by one:

Check Online IGNOU Study Material Dispatch Status of July 2021 Session And January 2021 Session

There are few easy steps which the students have to follow to know their IGNOU books status online.These are as follow:

Step 1: First of all click on this link: Click here

Step 2: It will open up a new web page on Ignou official website where you will find two separate links “July 2021” and “January 2021”.

Step 3: Click on any of these links as per your admission session. Suppose, I have to check Ignou study material dispatch status for July 2021 session. So, I will click on July 2021 link. It will look like as shown below:

In the similar way, the students who have been enrolled in Jan 2020 academic session can click on Jan 2020 link to know the dispatch status of their books. Have a look at it below:

Step 4: Choose any of the above link as per your need and click on it.Then enter your enrollment number and click on submit button to know the dispatch status.

Step 5: As soon as you hit the submit button, the status of your Ignou study material will show on the screen.

In the IGNOU study material dispatch status report, students will be able to see the following information:

Course Name, Medium, Bar Code, Expected Date of Delivery, Lot No. and Remarks if any.

Know your Study material status at Regional Centre or Study Centre

As we have already mentioned above, sometimes the students have to collect their study material from their study centres as well.

It’s because, the university sends the books in the Regional Centres from where it is delivered to the students.

But the university keep on changing the methods of sending books to the students time to time.

I am saying this because these days many regional centres are telling to the students to wait for their study books to reach their home as the books will be delivered directly from IGNOU Main campus, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi.

However, we advise students to visit their regional centre at least once to know about books.

Don’t just wait at their home even after two months. Because, it can harm their assignment submission process and exam preparation.

The counsellors at Regional Centre or Study centre may provide you study material post Tracking Id. By using this tracking id you can track the delivery of your IGNOU Books.

If you don’t get hard copy of your study material, you do not need to get worried about it as you can also download Ignou books online as well.
