There are five questions in each Ignou MA Philosophy assignment. Students have to answer all of them. The weightage of questions vary from 20 marks to 10 and 5 marks. For 20 marks question, the word limit to write answer is 500 each.
The few assignment questions of some courses have 10 marks questions as well.The word limit for writing 10 marks question is 250 words. For 5 marks question, the world limit is 150.

It means the 30% of the total marks obtained by the students in the assignments will be added in the total marks of the course.
Therefore total marks for any course will be combination of 70% theory and 30% assignment marks.
